The mission of Home Educators TREK is to serve God by offering primarily extracurricular opportunities (such as nature, art, fitness, and field trips) for home educated children and encouragement for home educating families. We are a faith-based, interdenominational organization operating on the basis of Biblical principles and living out our faith. We welcome members of all races, nationalities and religions who will respect and honor our beliefs.

TREK will be open to 30 families for the 2008-2009 school year for families with at least one child age five or older. TREK hosts a variety of activities on Fridays at Grace Church in Normal and other locations within the community.
