There will be no fee for this workshop. A free will offering will be collected at the performance to cover the expense of scripts, performance royalty and other expenses. There will be a limited number of students accepted in the program this year. An audition process will be used to determine selection for the forty available spots. There will be spots for those wanting to serve backstage as well as onstage. The production needs artists, dancers, and costumers as well as actors. All those interested must register and attend the Feb. 25 Audition from 9:00-11:00. One parent of those 16 or younger must attend the parent´s meeting from 11:00-12:00 that day. After the audition, students will be notified regarding their admission into the program.

This workshop is led by Connie Beard who is the Drama Director at Vale Community Church and a former high school drama teacher. Participants must be willing to make a serious commitment to the rehearsal schedule to be considered for an acting part or to be a team leader. Minimum age for participants is 13.

The registration deadline is February 10th. Just email names and ages of students wanting to audition to connie.beard2@gmail.com . Each student must also complete the audition form and bring it to the audition on Feb. 25. at 9:00.
