Theater for Homeschooled Artistic Teens

Season Four
Returning for a fourth season, T.H.A.T. will begin February 9, 2010. All area homeschool teens are invited to participate in this 13 session workshop that culminates in a performance for the entire community. A wide range of theater skills will be covered as we prepare for the final performance. The workshop and performance will be held at Vale Community Church, 1304 Morrissey, Bloomington.

This workshop is led by Connie Beard who is the Drama Director at Vale Community Church and a former high school drama teacher. Participants must be willing to make a serious commitment to the rehearsal schedule to be considered for an acting part or to be a team leader. Minimum age for participants is 13.

Registration
The registration deadline is January 15th. You may print out a registration form or email registration information to: connie.beard2@gmail.com. Include the following:

  • Parent’s Name; Address; Phone; primary email contact;
  • Names of children participating/ages and gender
  • Parent volunteers to help with costumes, sets, props etc. will be appreciated.

There will be no fee for this workshop. A free will offering will be collected at the performance to cover the expense of scripts, performance royalty and other expenses.
