Stanford Testing
Tentative dates for 2008 testing are May 19 & 20. | The State of Illinois does not require any form of testing or reporting on the progress of our children's education; however, many parents like to expose their students to the testing environment and to have a measurement of ability to determine areas of weakness. The Stanford Achievement Test is nationally standardized and recognized to meet most state transfer requirements. Because it must be administered by pre-approved proctors, the test is offered locally by other homeschool parents who have completed the qualification process. Registration materials are posted in February and due by mid-April. The fee of $65 per student covers the cost of the test, scoring and administrative expenses.
