The CAHSA Homeschool Formal Prom is completely coordinated by parent and student volunteers. If you are willing to serve on a committee, please email us as soon as possible, and let us know in which of these areas you would prefer to help.
- Registration - Receives registration forms and payments, keeps records, and distributes tickets.
- Location - Serves as contact with the facility, handling the contract details and payments.
- Activities - Oversees and assists the teen volunteers to plan and execute the activities for the evening, including the music, dancing, door prizes and photography.
- Publicity - Designs and develops web and print materials.
- Sponsorship - Identifies prospective sponsors, secures payment, and processes associated paperwork.
- Food - Works within a given budget to plan, prepare, and serve refreshments.
- Decorations - Oversees and assists student volunteers with procurement of decorations within the given budget.
- Chaperones - Spaces are limited with consideration given to parents who serve on a committee.
- Teens - Student volunteers who choose the theme, plan and execute decorations, contribute ideas and preferences to adult committees.
