Martial arts can provide great benefit to children and their families including improved physical fitness, focus, coordination and self-confidence as well as be used to help provide credit for homeschool PE courses. Kaizen Family Martial Arts and Fitness Center

Owned by Daniel Atherton in Eureka, Illinois, Kaizen Family Martial Arts andFitness Center offers a variety of martial arts, physical fitness and self-defense classes for students and families. Classes are offered during both days and evenings. Daniel teaches Korean Mu Sool Won (Kuk Sool), Mu Sool -korean for martial arts, Kuk Sool- Korean Martial Arts- which incorporates martial arts from the Korean Royal Court , Budhist and Tribal families as well as japanese budo taijutsu, Okinawan ryukyu kempo/kyusho jitsu, and filipino modern arnis training systems/kali. Kim's Taekwondo

Located in Landmark Mall in Normal (on College near Kroger), Kim's Taekwondo has been in the Bloomington-Normal area for over 25 years. Taekwondo is a great activity for students that are homeschooled - and their adult family members. All are welcome! Morning classes are currently offered for homeschooling families.
