Gymnastics is an excellent activity for all ages to develop strength, flexibility and coordination in an entertaining setting. Two local gyms with fantastic recreational and competitive programs have scheduled times specifically for home school students to receive instruction based upon their own personal goals and abilities. Gymnastics, Etc. offers a gymnastics class from 2:00-3:00 on Monday afternoons beginning September 10. Two or more instructors will be on hand to break the students up into groups based upon age and skill. The cost of the class is $40 every four weeks, plus an annual registration fee of $20. Gymnastics, Etc. is located near the Palace Theater and Game Time Gym. Please visit their website or call Teresa at 309-662-8413 for more information. Victory Academy offers gymnastics from 3:30-4:30 on Thursday afternoons. An annual fee of $30 or $50 per family is required. Victory is located near the Central Illinois Regional Airport.
