Join homeschool alumni from across the nation at the premier event for homeschool graduates! You'll have the opportunity to be part of four days packed of fellowship, presentations, conversation, panel discussions, music, fun activities, and friends old and new...all with fellow homeschool graduates who share your core values and unique life experiences. The 2008 event is scheduled for July 31-August 3 in Bagdad, KY, near Louisville.
Whether or not you home educate, this conference provides help and encouragement to anyone interested in taking a more active role in their children's education. The annual APACHE conference consists of a wide variety of workshops, keynote speeches, vendor exhibits and opportunities to network with like-minded families. Attendance is open to the public for a registration fee, which may be paid in advance or at the door. This event is typically held in mid-late April. Dates for 2008 are April 11-12.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Homeschool Group (OLOG) and the Greater Milwaukee Catholic Home Educators (GMCHE) are pleased to announce their alternating sponsorship of an annual Catholic Homeschool Conference for the greater midwest. Open to Catholic and non-Catholic homeschool parents, grandparents and teens, as well as those considering home education, the event is generally scheduled in late Spring. The 2008 conference will be held in Joliet May 23-24.
This three-day, statewide conference featuring national speakers has a strong Christian focus. The 2008 event will be held in Naperville, June 5-7. The ICHE Conference is known for the oasis of veteran homeschoolers specifically available to attendees for a quick Q & A.
Formerly the Illinois H.O.U.S.E. conferences, the InHome Conference in the Chicago area offers adult, children and family workshops along with a vendor exhibit hall. The event is generally held in early March just in time to conquer the winter blues and start planning for the next school year. The 2008 event will be held March 7-8.
